Kenna Carlsen - Senior Research Associate from the National Safety Council (NSC)
Kenna Carlsen is a Senior Research Associate with the National Safety Council’s Work to Zero initiative, specializing in the application of technology in the workplace, risk mitigation practices, and workplace violence prevention. Prior to joining the Council, Kenna served as a research consultant for leading Fortune 500 retail organizations, exploring the role of technology in crime prevention, workplace safety, and security. Kenna holds a master’s degree from the University of Florida and currently resides outside of Gainesville, Florida.

For the past 20 years, Aleks has worked with various security guard companies to bring technological innovations to the traditional physical on-site security. For the past 7 years, Aleks has worked as the Vice President of Technology for Weiser Security Services, and has become a trusted consultant for clients on what applications of technology should be made on site, including: evaluation of areas of coverage, early detection and warning systems, increasing security officer productivity, remote monitoring solution applications, and more.
